3 Gadgets I want This Christmas

With the holiday season just around the corner, it’s about time for most of us techies to make a list of everything we want under our Christmas trees.

There are countless choices right now, and you might want to take care of your most urgent needs first before you get lost in all the great deals you can find online this season.

For most of us, the holiday season is the best time to grab the product we’ve had our eye on for a while and I, for one, am always saving up so I can find for a great deal around this time of year.

This year, I have my eye on three gadgets in particular which I will list below:

A new laptop

Don’t get me wrong, my MSI laptop has been a great companion for the last two years, but I think it’s time for an upgrade.

I’ve had my eye on a Toshiba laptop for a while and the Satellite C660-1ZM is one of the most appealing options I’m currently considering.

I’ll mostly use it for keeping my blogs updated, but also a bit of graphic design and coding. The Intel Core i3 and 6GB of DDR3 memory are quite enough for the job and let’s not forget about the reliability a Toshiba laptop has to offer.

An EBook Reader

I’m one of those people who keep collecting all these great e-books and never have the time to read them. This is where an EBook reader comes in handy, especially if you travel and want to take advantage of those dead hours spent on the road.

The Amazon Kindle is probably the best choice for an EBook reader, and now with the Kindle Fire, you’re not only getting an EBook Reader, but an entry-level tablet as well. I’ve written about the Kindle Fire a couple of weeks ago and it’s definitely a great, affordable option for an EBook reader.

A Media Player

I use my smartphone for media and when on the road, that’s not always the best thing to do. Your battery can run out pretty quickly and you’ll find yourself unreachable very fast.

I’d like a more dedicated solution for my personal media library, so I am currently considering the Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 for the job. Even though it looks more like a smartphone than a media player, Galaxy Player’s large screen and the fact that it’s running on Android, takes the Samsung Galaxy Player to the top of my list.

These are the top three gadgets I have my eye on this season. What do you want for Christmas this year? Use the comment section to share your must-haves.
